Who?

I am Chris Rickels. I am 25. I live in Nottingham. I like the photography. I love the creativity that photography allows me to achieve. I like the way that something very simple and mundane can be made interesting by capturing the light around it. If you're reading this, I like you :)

What?

This website showcases my personal favourite photos I have taken. It has been through several phases, ultimately finishing with this solution based on Flogr. This allows me to simply tag a photo with 'blog' and as if by magic make it appear on this site. Even bringing descriptions, comments and exif data along for the ride! Minimum effort. Perfect.

Being a web developer by day, I naturally had to tinker with it and make a custom theme. If you're interested in using it get in touch.

Why?

Hopefully by some round about way this will inspire me to take more time over taking better photographs. I like the idea of having a collection of just my favourites, but still linked to the random outpouring of my flickr stream. It's always good to have a project.
